Wrapped in the loving gaze of my loved one. 

We had dinner together. Grandma had made so many dishes with her own hands, and she had also baked her special walnut pie for me. I couldn't be happier. I thank God for every second of this night. I thank him for finally blessing us with the happiness we deserved. I was so full, but they kept on feeding me all the dishes. The evening was spent so well. It was late at night when we returned home. Grandma and Xanthus's mother wanted us to stay for the night, but we didn't have my medicine there, and we also had to go to the hospital in the morning for all the tests. They wanted me to stay with them from now on so they could take care of me, but I promised to come back soon. I was so tired, and Erick carried me to our room in his arms. He even helped me in getting change. Now we both were snuggling with each other. 

“Today was so much fun,” I said with droopy eyes. I wrapped my arm more around his arm and buried my face in my neck. 

“It was,” he said while kissing my forehead, and a smile formed on my lips. I started to kiss him on his neck, and I heard how his breath hitched. 

“I love you,” I mumbled into his neck with closed eyes. His hold went tight on me. He took hold of my chin and made me look at him. 

“I love you too,” he mumbled on my lips and then cut the distance between them. I kissed him back, and I didn't when I ended up falling asleep in the middle of the kiss. I was so sleepy even though I had slept most of the day. I heard him chuckling, and then he pressed a kiss on my head. The next day we went to the doctor and did all the tests the doctor told us. A series of blood tests and a whole-body MRI. There were so many in number. Erick stayed beside me all the time. He knows how much I hate needles. It took our whole day, and still, a few more tests were left to do. We have again come tomorrow to do the tests. Before leaving, we decided to meet the doctor. Now we were sitting in the doctor's office. She was looking at the paper in which all the tests I took were mentioned. She removed her reading glasses once she was done reading the paper. 

“Most of the tests have been done today,” she said with a smile while looking at us. 

“I know it must have been so tiring for you,” the doctor said while looking at my face. I smiled with a tired look on my face. 

“Tomorrow won't be this trying for you. You have to give blood for a few more tests and some general scans,” she told me with an encouraging smile, and I nodded my head in understanding. 

“Just eat nutritional food and be happy,” she said with a big smile, and I remember how she told me that my thinking and thoughts would affect me. 

“Yes, doctor, I will,” I said once again with an understanding look on my face. 

“I will take care of that,” Erick said with a serious look on his face. He has had that look on his face since morning. He is acting brave, but I know from inside he is scared. 

“We are meeting Doctor Schmidt tomorrow, right?” he asked with a look on his face. The doctor nodded her head. 

“Yes, I have already booked your appointment. She will be coming here tomorrow. I will brief her about your case in detail when she is here,” she told us. Erick asked a few more questions, and then it was time to leave. We were at the door when I remembered the important question I forgot to ask her. 

“Doctor, I forgot to ask you a very important question,” I said to the doctor with a serious face while stopping on my track. The doctor raised her brow in concern. 

“What is it, Mrs. Villain?” she asked with the same serious look on her face. I walked to her desk, and Erick followed me closely. 

“Is doing it normally in pregnancy?” I asked while biting on my lower lip. Doctors' brows raised even more in confusion when I asked that. 

“What are you doing?” she asked with a confused look on her face. Erick also looked at me with furrowed brows. 

“Is having sex while pregnant safe?” I asked with a slightly sheepish smile on my face. I had searched on the internet, and it said it's safe, but I want to be sure. Erick has been pulling away from me since we came to know about my pregnancy. I know he is scared. He doesn't want to end up hurting me or the babies. The doctor's expression turned normal with understanding what I was asking while Erick stood surprised beside me. He was not expecting me to ask this question. He is so needy, but I know he has been controlling himself till now. 

“Yes, it's completely fine and very natural to want intimacy in pregnancy. It won't harm babies in any way, but just take care of a few things,” she told us with a neutral look on her face. She explained everything to us, and Erick was listening to her so obediently. Taking mental notes. I stopped myself from smiling. 

“Just take care of this thing,” she said, and we both nodded our heads in understanding. I thanked her, and then we left. We took a lift down. 

“I will get you medicine. You wait here,” Erick said while walking to the drugstore after I nodded my head. I was looking around when I saw a familiar face. My brows furrowed because I was not expecting that person to be there. Why is he wearing hospital clothes? Curiosity sparked in me, and my legs moved on their own. I saw him walking in the doctor's office. Once the door closed, I read the nameplate on the door. My eyes widened in shock. 

“What is Erick’s father doing with the oncologist?”
